How do I install the puck lights on my cabinet or shelf?
Peel the protective film from one side of the included traceless adhesive pad, press it firmly onto the flat back of the puck, peel the second film, and press the puck onto a clean, dry, smooth surface for 30 seconds. Wait at least one hour before hanging weight on it. For a more permanent install, use the included screws to mount the puck through its keyhole slot.
How do I pair the remote to multiple puck lights?
The remote is paired at the factory. To re-sync, press and hold the power button on the remote for 5 seconds within 10 seconds of installing fresh batteries in the puck. The puck will flash to confirm the pairing. One remote can control an unlimited number of pucks in range.
How long do the batteries last and what type do I need?
Each puck uses 3 AA batteries (not included). At 30% brightness with the 30-minute auto-off timer, expect roughly 80 to 100 hours of use per set of alkaline batteries. At 100% brightness with no timer, expect closer to 20 to 30 hours. Rechargeable AA batteries work well and can lower long-term cost.
Do these puck lights work with rechargeable batteries?
Yes. Any standard AA rechargeable battery, including NiMH 1.2V cells, works in the puck. For best brightness and runtime, we recommend 1.5V lithium or high-capacity NiMH cells rather than lower-voltage 1.2V alkaline rechargeables.
Will these work on a textured, wood-grain, or porous surface?
The adhesive pads perform best on smooth, sealed surfaces such as painted drywall, laminate, metal, glass, and finished wood. On raw wood, brick, stucco, or heavily textured surfaces, the adhesive may not hold reliably, and we recommend using the included screw mount instead.
What is included in the box and what do I need to buy separately?
Each box contains the puck lights, the remote control, traceless adhesive mounting pads, screws and anchors for hard mounting, and a quick-start guide. You will need to supply 3 AA batteries per puck, which are not included. The 6-pack includes one remote for all pucks.
Can the pucks get wet or be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. These pucks are rated for indoor dry locations only. They should not be installed in direct contact with water, in a shower, outdoors, or in a freezer. For outdoor or wet locations, look for a product with an IP44 or higher rating.
What is the warranty and what if a puck stops working?
The product is backed by a standard manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If a puck fails under normal use, contact the seller with your order details for a replacement. Keep your packaging and receipt until you have confirmed the lights work as expected.
