Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a thoughtful housewarming gift for someone setting up a first apartment?
Yes. It is practical, affordable, and immediately useful in any new home, making it a standout housewarming gift that new homeowners genuinely appreciate.
Will the Golden finish feel special enough for a holiday or birthday gift?
The Golden finish has a premium, gift-worthy appearance and pairs well with the included packaging-ready adhesive hooks for a polished presentation.
Can I gift this to my mom without it feeling like an impersonal household item?
Yes. Pairing it with a card explaining the daily shower routine benefit, or selecting the finish that matches her bathroom, turns it into a thoughtful, personal gift.
Is this a good Valentine's Day gift for a partner who just moved in together?
Yes. It is a practical, shared-use gift that fits a new household and signals care for their daily comfort and living space.
Does the set come ready to gift, or do I need to wrap it myself?
The squeegee and included adhesive hooks arrive in retail-ready packaging that is suitable for gifting with minimal additional wrapping.
Is this appropriate as a wedding registry gift?
Yes. It is a useful, long-lasting household essential that newlyweds will use daily, making it a great registry add-on.
Will my gift recipient actually use it, or will it end up in a drawer?
Because it replaces multiple cleaning tools and requires no chemicals, most recipients use it daily within the first week of ownership.
Is the price point appropriate for a casual gift or a more meaningful occasion?
It fits a wide range of gifting occasions, from small stocking stuffers to thoughtful housewarming and birthday presents.
How does this compare to gifting a standard plastic squeegee from a dollar store?
A plastic squeegee feels disposable and generic. The Aqualume Pro's stainless steel build, designer finishes, and included hooks make it feel like a considered, premium gift.
Is this a better gift than a candle or flowers for a housewarming?
Candles and flowers are temporary. A stainless steel squeegee is a lasting, practical gift that the recipient will use every day, making it more memorable.
Will the recipient need to buy anything extra to use the squeegee right away?
No. Everything needed, including the squeegee and adhesive hooks, is included in the box, so the gift is ready to use immediately.
Is this safe to gift to elderly parents or relatives?
Yes. The lightweight 0.21 kg body and ergonomic anti-slip handle make it easy and safe to use for older adults, including those with limited grip strength.
How do I use the Aqualume Pro squeegee for the best streak-free results?
Start at the top corner of the wet glass surface and pull the blade down in a single, smooth motion. Wipe the blade with a dry cloth between passes. For best results, use immediately after showering or after rinsing the surface with clean water.
How do I install the included adhesive hooks?
Clean the wall surface with rubbing alcohol and let it dry completely. Peel the backing from the adhesive hook, press it firmly onto the surface for 30 seconds, and wait 24 hours before hanging the squeegee to allow the adhesive to fully set.
How do I clean and maintain the squeegee for long-term use?
Rinse the silicone blade with warm water after each use and towel dry. Periodically wipe the stainless steel handle with a dry cloth to maintain its finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the silicone blade.
Will the squeegee work on textured or frosted glass?
The squeegee is designed for smooth, flat glass surfaces. It may not perform as well on heavily textured, frosted, or seeded glass because the blade cannot make full contact with the uneven surface.
Is the squeegee safe to use on acrylic or plastic shower panels?
Yes, the soft silicone blade is safe for use on smooth acrylic and plastic panels. Test a small area first and avoid using excessive pressure.
What is included in the box when I order the Aqualume Pro squeegee?
Each order includes one Aqualume Pro stainless steel squeegee in your selected size and color, plus two waterproof adhesive hooks for wall-mounted storage. No additional accessories are required to start using it.
Is the squeegee safe to use around children and pets?
Yes. The stainless steel and silicone construction contains no harmful chemicals, and the rust-resistant materials do not flake or shed. As with any tool, store it out of reach of very young children to prevent accidental contact with the handle.
Will the stainless steel rust over time in a constantly wet bathroom?
No. The 100% rust-resistant stainless steel handle and frame are specifically engineered to resist corrosion in constant humidity, including steamy bathroom environments.
What is the difference between a squeegee and a microfiber cloth for cleaning glass?
A microfiber cloth wipes and redistributes moisture, often requiring a chemical cleaner for a streak-free finish. A squeegee with a silicone blade physically pushes water and residue off the glass in a single pass, delivering a streak-free result with no chemicals and less effort.
